19:15-19:30 ~ Arrival & Getting Ready
Please note: if you arrive after 19:30, you will not be able to join the class as the entrance will be locked outside of arrival time.
19:30-20:45 ~ WCS Intermediate: Level 3 🩰
20:45-21:00 ~ Social Dancing 🕺
✅ Each lesson includes in depth teaching and application + social dancing to further immerse yourself into what you learned.
✅ A recap video will be created and uploaded to the WhatsApp “WCSE Course Group Chat” after every class.
✅ We will also post a sneak-peak into the agenda for the next class up to 2 days in advance to each class!
West Coast Swing Intermediate: Level 3
This intermediate course will cover 1-3 overarching topics over 6 classes.
The theme for this series:
Understanding Connection Types & Connection Management
Heavy VS Light
Linear VS Angle
Patterns which showcase connection types and how they change the pattern
Spinning
You know the idea for planes and masks? They say to first assist yourself before assisting others. Dance is the same.
In this series, learn to connect with yourself before connecting with others.
We will demonstrate this by teaching core differences in connection types and how to identify your connection types and your partners connection types. Building from this, you will discover new techniques to help achieve your own dance comfort, safety, and goals.
Spinning is an art. Just as you need to understand connection, you need to understand spinning technique.
There are a multitude of dances with a multitude of spins, but it’s so diverse and intense, it’s challenging to see or feel what is actually going on. Now is your moment to learn how to spin, lead your spins, or ask for spins at any point in your dance!
